Teaching Artist
Residencies
Each Teaching Artist Residency places theatre educators in a partner community around the world, where they mentor young artists involved with DAT’s Drama Clubs. Through classes in acting, directing, playwriting, and more, residents work alongside local partners to address community needs while helping young people grow as artists, advocates, and leaders.
ACTion Expeditions
ACTion is a 30-day international theatre expedition where emerging artists journey across diverse landscapes, train with master artists, collaborate across cultures, co-create original work, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of local young artists—culminating in ACTion FEST, a roving cross-cultural festival of bold new theatre.
