Tamara Eastin is a UC Santa Barbara graduate, holding a Bachelor of Art in Theater and Spanish. During her undergraduate education at UC Santa Barbara, Tamara joined a Student run Theater Company on campus. She performed with major dance rolls in the musicals Guys and Dolls, and 42nd Street. She then took over the position as choreographer for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, and Urinetown, as well as director for The Pajama Game. Specially selected by her Theater department, Tamara had the opportunity to direct a One Act Play, A Marriage Proposal, in fall 2009. Tamara also spent a semester abroad in Madrid, Spain learning and developing her skills in Spanish communication. Next fall Tamara hopes to earn teaching credentials in Spanish and Theater, for high school education. She is thrilled to use both her theater and Spanish skills this summer, in Ecuador. DAT brings all her passions of teaching, theater, traveling and Spanish together in an amazing journey she can’t wait to begin.
