Jennifer Robideau is inspired by travelers, actors, and teachers, and so it is no surprise why DAT is an organization she had to meet and work with. Back home in Hawaii, she became inspired to study, act, and teach, where she played in three Hawaii Shakespeare festivals and earned her MA in English from the University of Hawaii. While abroad studying acting at Drama Studio London, she was inspired by her adventures in England, France, Wales, Italy, and Ukraine and also by her mentor Sue Weston whose efforts with the Abhina Foundation brought drama to Sri Lankans after the Tsunami disaster in 2004. In addition to acting in NYC, Jennifer has volunteered for WET-Women's Expressive Theatre, recruiting young women to be part of a free teen-group that reevaluates representations of women in the media; she is also a literature teacher at Seton Hall University and the charity coordinator for S Factor, a dance studio that seeks to empower women through movement.
