Three wildly creative short plays devised in Ecuador, "Poco a Poco"

Over the summer, 25 theatre artists from across the United States have journeyed throughout the country of Ecuador. These artists have explored the diverse cultures and terrain, engaged with local communities through service projects, learned traditional Andean Mask Dances, workshopped with local artists, taught theatre & english, all while collaborating together to build original, short pieces of theatre inspired by their experiences abroad.

The final cast of artists will return on July 30th... with Ecuador still on their breath, less than a week before opening night! The results will be surprising, unexpected, hilarious, touching, honest and raw. These artists will explore storytelling with dance and song, monologue and dialogue, readings and emotional outbursts. They will touch upon a wide range of topics as they weave together a story that can only be created... "Poco a Poco."
